Start the engine and let it run until it reaches approximately 60°C (140°F). Then, switch the engine off, wait 3 minutes, and check the dipstick. Add oil to reach the full mark. The final amount needed may be more or less than 0.5 Liters (0.5 quarts).
Oil Viscosity/Type:
SAE 5W-40, SAE 5W-30 (All TEMPS) - If a synthetic oil meeting the applicable Audi or Volkswagen quality standard with the recommended viscosity grade is unavailable, be sure to use a viscosity grade suitable for your climate, season, and driving conditions. Ensure the oil meets the listed Audi and Volkswagen oil quality standards.
Oil Drain Plug Torque:
22 ft/lbs (Oil Drain Plug). After each time you remove the drain plug, you must replace it with a new one.
